 Purchasing Messages

SIM*plicity has four different message (comment) options that can be selected for individual items Requisitions or for the entire Purchase Order. Standard Messages can be combined with text messages. (You could have a Standard Message that says: Special >> Substitute the following size panel for this item:. and after selecting it add text for the new size.)

Requisition (Individual Item) Text

This text prints after the individual item on the PO

(Displayed on Requisition Screen)

Entering TEXT  Message Click on "Click here to add text" and enter any text needed. There is no limit to the length of text
Selecting STANDARD Message Use the pull down arrow on the right side of the Standard Message Box . After selecting the desired message PRESS THE TAB KEY to move it to the text box.
 Creating STANDARD Messages Standard Messages are text files and must be created using Notepad or WordPad in your Newcams\????user folder. Each message is an individual file and the first file name is REQUIMSG.001. (Increment the number for subsequent files) Note: Save files as "all files" type to avoid the appending of a "txt" suffix .

 

 

 Purchase Order Text

This text prints after the last item on the PO
