Inventory Adjustments

Physical inventories can be audited with pre-numbered tags or can be recorded on worksheets.  To create a worksheet select "TOOLS" on toolbar at the top of the SIM*plicity screen, then REPORTS and then INVENTORY WORKSHEET. Options allow you to select the type of inventory, a range of values and the printout area. Normally print this form in code (material #, component #. etc.) order.

 

The Inventory Adjustment screen is then  accessed by selecting Accounting on the "accordion" and then "Physical Inventory".

   1 Select the type of inventory from the drop-down box.
2 Select the order of your worksheet printout (or select "Tag Order" for an audited inventory.
3 DO NOT Check this box to "Zero on-hand quantities "  unless you want to change all the items in the selected inventory category
4 Select the first item on your Inventory Worksheet  from the drop-down box. Then TAB over to the New Quantity. TAB to accept the quantity and display the next item.
5 Select Adjust inventory to complete the process. If you need to exit the module before completion see #6

If you need to pause your adjustment process select SAVE. When you next enter this module you can LOAD your existing adjustments.
