Payments

Deposits, partial and complete payments can be recorded and accessed by either invoice or customer order. Access this module by selecting Order Entry on the "accordion" and then "payments".

(Reports for this module are accessed  on the tab above the selection box. They are outlined in: Payment Reports (A/R) )

 

Payments Screen

 

  1 -Select Select order by either Customer Order # or Invoice #. (Invoice #'s are created after order is shipped  and are tied to a specific order # and are sequential  (based on actual shipping date). Therefore,  back orders will have a different invoice #.
2 - Enter Date Enter date that payment is actually received . You can change the default (today) date manually or click on the calendar button.
3-  Enter Amount Enter amount paid
4 - Accept Okay to accept amounts; then either close or enter additional payments for same or other customer orders.
NOTES

- For ease in data entry, navigate the page by tabbing after entering order/invoice #.

- Order status box in the upper right hand corner advises current status of the order. (This is a read only box.)

- Total Payments and Amount Due are updated when  you click the "accept" button.

- Payments are listed individually at the bottom of acknowledgments and invoices.
